Automatically update the
Linux
driver

When you upgrade the
Linux
kernel on a device, you must make sure that the device is running a driver that supports it. For devices running
CylancePROTECT Desktop
agent 3.1 and later, you can enable the Auto-Update Linux Driver feature, which allows the agent to automatically update the driver when an updated kernel is detected on the system, as soon as it becomes available. Upgrading to the latest kernel ensures that your device receives the latest OS security updates, while using the latest agent and driver ensures that
CylancePROTECT
keeps it protected.
