Specify your private DNS

You can provide the settings for your private DNS to help
CylanceGATEWAY
route traffic within your private network. You can specify the IP addresses of your DNS servers, the domain names delegated to your DNS servers for forward lookups, and the CIDRs delegated to your DNS servers for reverse lookups. The DNS Server IP addresses are shared by all of connector groups and must be included in a connector group. You can get this information from your network administrator.
  1. On the menu bar, click
    Settings > Network
    .
  2. Click the
    Private Network
    tab.
  3. Click
    DNS
    .
  4. To specify a DNS server, perform the following actions:
    1. Click
      DNS Servers
      .
    2. Click
      Add DNS Server
      .
    3. Type the IP address for your DNS server and click
      Add
      .
  5. To specify a domain for forward lookups, perform the following actions. You can specify a maximum of 100 forward lookup zones.
    1. Click
      Forward Lookup Zone
      .
    2. Click
      Add Forward Zone
      .
    3. Type a domain name and click
      Add
      .
    If you do not specify a forward lookup zone, the
    CylanceGATEWAY Connector
    health check
    will fail. If you enable split tunneling and do not specify a forward lookup zone, all DNS queries will go through the tunnel.
  6. To specify a CIDR for reverse lookups, perform the following actions:
    1. Click
      Reverse Lookup Zone
      .
    2. Click
      Add Reverse Zone
      .
    3. Type a CIDR and click
      Add
      .
  7. To edit an address or domain name, click The Edit icon.
  8. To remove an address or domain name, click The Delete icon.
