Install the
CylanceGATEWAY Connector
to a
Hyper-V
environment

Make sure you have permissions to deploy the VHD file and create a connector image.
  1. Download the
    CylanceGATEWAY Connector
    VHD file (cylance-gateway-connector-dynamic<
    version
    >.vhd) from
    my
    Account
    .
  2. Run the
    Hyper-V
    Manager as an administrator.
  3. In the
    Hyper-V
    Manager menu, click
    Action > New > Virtual Machine
    . Click
    Next
    .
  4. On the
    Specify Name and Location
    screen, specify a name for the VM. Click
    Next
    .
  5. On the
    Specify Generation
    screen, select
    Generation 1
    . Click
    Next
    .
  6. On the
    Assign Memory
    screen, click
    Next
    .
  7. On the
    Configure Networking
    screen, select the appropriate connection. Click
    Next
    .
  8. On the
    Connect Virtual Hard Disk
    screen, select
    Use an existing virtual hard disk
    .
  9. Navigate to the cylance-gateway-connector-dynamics-<
    version
    >.vhd file that you downloaded in step 1.
  10. On the
    Assign memory
    screen, make sure that the connector has a minimum of 5 GB of memory. Click
    Next
    .
  11. On the
    Completing the New Virtual Machine Wizard
    screen, review the configuration settings and click
    Finish
    .
  12. Start the connector.
