Test an alert

The

BlackBerry AtHoc

system allows you to test any alert from the Edit Alert screen. When you test the alert, it is sent only to you.

In the navigation bar, click

Alerts

New Alert

On the

Select from Alert Templates

screen, click

Edit

for the alert you want to test.

On the alert details screen, click

Test Alert

. The Test Alert window opens with your available enabled devices selected or a test box to add a device. You can deselect any device you don't want to receive the test alert on.

In the

Test Alert

window, click

Test Alert

The Test Alert screen closes and a confirmation notification appears at the top of the alert details screen. The test alert is sent to your selected devices.
