Install the Windows agent

agentThe installation files for the
CylancePROTECT Desktop
Windows
agent must be downloaded from the Cylance
cloud console. They are not available from the CylanceON-PREM
console. You must also modify the installation parameters to specify the details of your CylanceON-PREM
console so that the agent connects to it. - Download theCylancePROTECT Desktopinstallation files from theCylancecloud console. ClickSettings > Deployments. From theProductdrop-down list, selectCylancePROTECT, and set the target operating system, the agent version, and the file type. ClickDownload.
- Modify installation parameters to specify the details of yourCylanceON-PREMconsole. For more information about each of the parameters, including examples for .exe and .msi installation commands, see Windows installation parameters.
- In theCylanceON-PREMconsole, copy the installation token fromSettings > Application.
- Double-click theCylancePROTECT Desktopinstaller.
- On theCylancePROTECT Desktopsetup window, clickInstall.
- Type the installation token and clickNext.
- Optionally, change the destination folder.
- ClickOKto begin the installation.
- ClickFinishto complete the installation. Ensure that the check box to launchCylancePROTECT Desktopis selected.
