Manage file permission requests
- From the top bar, click .
- ClickFile permission requests.
- Click the file request that you want to manage.The management options available in theRequeststab may vary depending on the nature of the request and the location of the requested file.Requests are listed per file, and may include single or multiple requests.TheRequeststab appears in the management pane on the right of the screen.
- Do one of the following:
- To approve the request by sending a copy of the file, selectApprove this request, and set the permission level and/or file expiration date.For more information on permissions, see User roles and permissions.
- To approve the request by adding the user to the workspace, selectApprove by adding the user to, clickDirectly to the workspace, and then select the desired role, permissions, file expiration, and watermark settings.
- To approve the request by adding the user to a group, selectApprove by adding the user to, selectAn existing workspace group, and clickChoose groupto select the group.
- To deny the request, selectDeny this request, and selectNotify the userto send notification.
- ClickApply.The user is notified if the request was approved. If you denied the request, no notification is sent unless you chose to send a notification.To view the workspace or folder information or permissions, access the information or permission tabs in the management pane.
