View files in the online viewer

You can use the online viewer to view 
Microsoft Office
 and .pdf documents in the browser without downloading them to your computer. You can add comments and annotations and share them with others.
When you view a file that is password-protected, you are prompted to enter the password. Also note the following limitations for password-protected files: 
  • Annotation buttons are hidden.
  • You may be prompted to enter the password again when you change between viewing modes.
  • Watermarks are not supported.
  • Password-protected documents cannot be sent to DocuSign. 
  1. Browse to the content area, and do one of the following: 
    • Click the filename. 
    • Hover over the file and click 
      View
    • Click The menu icon > 
      View
  2. If the document is password-protected, enter the password and click 
    Open
    .
  3. If you want to maximize the viewer and open it in a new browser tab, click Maximize viewer on the viewer's title bar. 
  4. Use the toolbar to perform the following actions (some actions might be restricted depending on your permissions):
     
    Enable Thumbnails view and Annotations view
    • Thumbnails view: Shows the thumbnails of each page in the document and  you can click a page to jump to that page.
    • Annotations view: Show annotations in a list view and click them to highlight and make changes to them.
    Jump to a page.
    Change viewing mode
    • Page: Select single page, double page, or let the viewer automatically choose.
    • Page transition: Continuous or jump. 
    • Rotation: Rotate left or rotate right. 
    Use pan mode.
     
    Zoom out or zoom in.
     
    Change the view size.
       
    Add annotations (for example, free drawing, sticky note, highlight, line).

    Add or view comments.
    Search the document.
    Print the document.
    Download the document.
     
    Send a copy or share annotations.
