Unlock a file
Locked files are marked in the content area with , and in the
Workspaces
Editor with Files can be unlocked at any time by the user who locked them, or by the
Workspaces
organization administrator. By default, files are locked for 24 hours then released automatically.- To unlock a file, do one of the following:
- In the content area, next to the file you want to unlock, tapUnlock.
- In theWorkspacesEditor, clickto unlock aMicrosoft Officefile for others. For more information on editingMicrosoft Officefiles in theWorkspacesEditor, see Edit a file.
The file is unlocked.
