Typing in Korean
The Korean language has more characters in the alphabet than there are
keys on the keyboard. As a result, more than one character appears on one key. There may
be alternate letters that are related to a primary letter or that have a similar form.
You can press and hold a letter or press the key again to access the second and third
characters.
The Korean keyboard supports word prediction and the flick feature, which
allows you to flick word suggestions up onto the screen (if you have this feature turned
on). The Korean keyboard also allows you to type alternate characters in a few different
ways:
- You can press a key two times quickly.
- You can press , and then press a letter.
- You can press and hold the primary character and then select the alternate character from the options.
To access emojis on the touch screen keyboard, press and hold .
