Typing in Arabic
The Arabic language has more characters in the alphabet than there are
keys on the keyboard. As a result, more than one character appears on one key. There may
be alternate letters that are related to a primary letter or that have a similar form.
You can press and hold a letter or press the key again to access more characters.
The Arabic keyboard layout supports word prediction and the flick feature,
which allows you to flick word suggestions up onto the screen (if you have this feature
turned on).
To access emojis and voice dictation on the touch screen keyboard, press and hold the
Comma
