Turn off word suggestions

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
  2. Tap The settings icon >
    Language & input
    .
  3. Tap
    BlackBerry Keyboard Settings
     or
    Keyboard Settings
     >
    BlackBerry Keyboard Settings
    .
  4. Tap
    Prediction and correction
    .
  5. Do any of the following:
    • To stop correcting words automatically when you tap the spacebar, tap
      Auto correction
      . Drag the slider all the way to the left, and then tap
      OK
      .
    • To see suggestions for the word that you're typing, but not for what you might type next, turn off the
      Next word suggestions
       switch.
    • To stop seeing predictions on keys or in the row above the keyboard, turn off the
      Show predictions
       switch.
