Using the Workspaces ribbon
Workspaces
ribbonUse the
Workspaces
ribbon to lock or comment while editing a Microsoft
Office
file. The Comments button is shown with a red ball if there are comments in
the file.The ability to lock or comment on files is enabled by organizational policy;
contact your organization administrator for more information.
To lock a file:
- Locate theWorkspacesribbon in the Home tab and clickLock File. To release the lock, clickUnlock File.For more information about locking files, see Locking and unlocking files.
To open the Comments tab:
- Locate theWorkspacesribbon in the Home tab and clickComments.For information on working with comments, see Working with comments.
