Install 
BlackBerry Workspaces
 for 
Windows

Install 
BlackBerry Workspaces
 for 
Windows
 so you can sync 
Workspaces
 folders and files to your computer and secure email attachments that you send through 
Microsoft Outlook
.
After the installation, 
BlackBerry Workspaces
 creates a 
Workspaces
 folder in your 
Windows
 Explorer, a shortcut to the 
Workspaces
 folder on your desktop, and a 
Workspaces
 icon in the system tray, through which you can perform various 
BlackBerry Workspaces
-related actions.
  1. Download the WorkspacesPluginSyncSetup.exe file and double-click it to start the installation.
  2. If you want to use 
    Workspaces
     to conveniently secure email attachments that you send through 
    Microsoft Outlook
    ,  select the 
    Send and secure files using Workspaces via Microsoft Outlook
     option.
  3. Click 
    Next
    .
  4. Read and accept the license agreement. Click 
    Next
    .
  5. Select the location on a local drive that you want to sync your 
    Workspaces
     content to. Make sure that the location has sufficient disk space to store content, including any new and updated files. Choose one of the following options:
    • Default
      : The default location is 
      C:\Users\<username>\Workspaces
      .
    • Custom
      : Click 
      Browse...
       and choose a location. Click 
      OK
      .
      The location that you select must be on a permanent local disk drive that is in NTFS format. Removable drives and network locations are not supported.
  6. Click 
    Install
    . The installation may take a few minutes.
  7. Once the installation is complete, click 
    Done
    .
