Add new members
Give access to a workspace, folder, or file by adding new groups, individuals,
Active
Directory
groups, or an email domain to the entity.- Next to the desired workspace, folder, or file, tap.
- Tap .
- In theTYPEarea, tap , and select the type of member you want to add:Workspacesgroup, users,Active Directorygroup, or email domain.
- Tap and do one of the following:
- If you selectedWorkspaces group, enter a group name, and enter email addresses or distribution lists.
- If you selectedActive Directory, enter theActive Directorygroup name and a description.
- If you selectedUsers, enter the email addresses of users you want to add.
- If you selectedEmail domain, enter the domain name.
- In theROLEarea, tap and select the desired role. For more information, see Roles.Roles can be assigned when giving access to a workspace or folder only.If you set the role of anActive Directorygroup to Administrator, this rolecannotbe changed later. If you set the role of anActive Directorygroup to Contributor or Visitor, the rolecannotbe changed to Administrator at a later time.
- Tap to return toAdd new permissions.
- In thePERMISSIONSarea, tap and select the desired permissions set. For more information see Permissions.TheDownload protectedpermissions set is available forBlackBerry WorkspacesEnterprise ES Mode andBlackBerry WorkspacesEnterprise ES (Restrict Full Access) Mode only. For more information, contact your organization administrator.
- To set the time when the file is no longer be accessible by the recipients, tap in theEXPIRATIONarea, and select the desired time period. If you selectSpecific date, choose the date and time, and then tap to return to the previous screen.
- Tap to return toAdd new permissions.
- In theWATERMARKarea, tap to toggle whether or not PDF files are displayed with a watermark.Watermarks are set according to organizational policy. When permissions are set toFull access, watermarks are only displayed on PDF files. When permissions are set to any of theDownload protectedpermissions, watermarks are not displayed on Office files.
- In theAPPLY TOarea, selectFolders that inherit permissions onlyto give access to all items that inherit permissions, orAll foldersto give access to all subitems.
- Tap to return to Add new permissions.
