Enable sideload detection

To enable sideload detection for
Android
 and
iOS
 devices, you must create and assign a
CylancePROTECT
 profile to users.
If you have already created and assigned a
CylancePROTECT
 profile to enable and configure other
CylancePROTECT Mobile
 features,
iOS
 sideload detection is already enabled for those users. You can assign the same profile to additional user accounts.
  1. In the management console, on the menu bar, click
    Policies and profiles > Protection > CylancePROTECT
    .
  2. Create a new
    CylancePROTECT
     profile or select and edit an existing
    CylancePROTECT
     profile.
  3. To enable sideload detection for
    Android
     devices, on the
    Android
     tab, in the
    Sideloaded app detection
     section, select the
    Enable sideloaded app detection
     check box.
    For
    iOS
     devices there are no settings that you need to enable or configure in the profile. After you assign the profile to users, the feature is enabled.
  4. Click
    Save
    .
