Add recipients to a sent file
Share a sent file with additional recipients.
- To access the main access menu, do one of the following:
- Swipe right from the middle-left edge of the screen.
- Tap .
- Tapto the right of the file you want to share with new recipients.
- In theEnter names or emailsarea, do one of the following:
- To manually add recipient email addresses, enter the email addresses of the intended recipients. Use spaces to separate multiple email addresses.
- To select contacts from your device's contact list, tap and select the contacts that you want to share the file with.
- If theManage Permissionsoption is displayed, tap and do any of the following to set the rest of the desired permissions:
- To require recipients to sign in to view the file, turn onRequire recipients to sign in.
- To change the access permissions, tap in thePermissionsarea, and select the desired access level.
- To add a read acknowledgement request to the file, turn onRequire read acknowledgement.
- To set a file expiration, when the file will no longer be accessible by the recipients, tap in theExpirationarea and select the desired time period. If you selectSpecific date, specify the date and time.
- To set who can access the file, tap in theAllow access toarea, and select the desired group:Recipients only,Anyone with recipients' domain, orEveryone.
- To specify whether the file is displayed to recipients with a watermark, turn theWatermarkoption on or off.When watermarks are turned on and permissions are set toFull access, watermarks are displayed inWorkspacesviewers on all files. When permissions are set to any of theDownload protectedpermissions, and files are downloaded, watermarks only display on PDF files and do not display on Office files opened in their native applications. Watermarks are set according to organizational policy.
- To allow permitted users to post and view comments in the file comments panel, turn onCommenting.
- To allow users to collaborate on a document by uploading a new version of the document, turn onAllow upload of new versions. For more information see Collaborating on files.
- To allow annotations when sending the file (on files that contain annotations), turn onInclude annotations.
- Tap to return to theAdd recipientsscreen.
- In theSubjectarea, edit the email subject.
- In theAdd a personal messagebox, add a personal message.
- TapSend.Authorized recipients can view the file by tapping on the link in the received email.If theSendbutton is not enabled, make sure that the email addresses that you entered are highlighted in grey. If they are not highlighted grey, tap inside theAdd a personal messagebox.
