Share a workspace, folder, or file
- To the right of a workspace, folder, or file, tap.
- In theShare witharea, select one of the following options:UsersTo manually add recipient email addresses, enter the email addresses of the intended recipients.To select contacts from your device's contact list, tap and select the contacts that you want to share the file with. When you are finished, tapDone.Optionally, you can type a message in theMessagebox.Existing groupType a group in theAdd groupfield or click and select a group name. Only permitted groups display in the list when you start to type.To manually add recipient email addresses, enter the email addresses of the intended recipients in theAdd membersfield. Note that adding a user to an existing group grants the new user access to all files the selected group is permitted to access.Optionally, you can type a message in theMessagebox.New groupType a group name. Optionally, add a group description, group members, and a group message.Email domainType a domain name.Active directory groupType a group name.
- To notify users that the workspace or folder has been shared, turn onNotify members.
- TapEdit.
- In theRolearea, tap and select the desired role. For more information, see Roles.
- In thePermissionarea, tap and select the desired access level. For more information, see Permissions.TheAdvanced Rights Managementpermissions set is available forBlackBerry WorkspacesEnterprise ES Mode andBlackBerry WorkspacesEnterprise ES (Restrict Full Access) Mode only. For more information, contact your administrator.
- In theExpirationarea, tap and select the time when the file will no longer be accessible by members. Select a specific date, a time period from the list, or never. If you selectSpecific date, specify the date and time.
- To ensure that workspace files appear with a watermark in all workspace viewers, turn onWatermark.When watermarks are turned on and permissions are set toFull access, watermarks are displayed inWorkspacesviewers on all files. When permissions are set to any of theDownload protectedpermissions, and files are downloaded, watermarks only display on PDF files and do not display on Office files opened in their native applications. Watermarks are set according to organizational policy.
- To allow permitted users to post and view comments in the file comments panel, turn onCommenting.
