Send a file by email from another app

Share files opened in third party applications securely via 
BlackBerry
Workspaces
.
  1.  In the app that you are using to view the file, for example, 
    Adobe Reader
    , tap 
    Share
     and then tap 
    Workspaces
    The Share file screen appears.
  2. Tap 
    Send a Copy
  3. Tap 
    Continue
    .
  4. In the 
    Enter name or emails
     area, do one of the following:
    • To manually add recipient email addresses, enter the email addresses of the intended recipients. 
    • To select contacts from your device's contact list, tap the add icon and select the contacts you want to share the file with.
  5. If the 
    Manage Permissions
     option is displayed, tap And_menu icon in the 
    Permissions
     area and do any of the following to set rest of the desired permissions: 
    • To require recipients to sign in to view the file, turn on 
      Require recipients to sign in
    • To change the access permissions, tap And_menu icon in the 
      Permissions
       area and select the desired access level. 
    • To set a file expiration, when the file will no longer be accessible by the recipients, tap And_menu icon in the 
      Expiration 
       area and select the desired time period. If you select 
      Specific date
      , specify the date and time.
    • To set who can access the file, tap And_menu icon in the 
      Allow access to
       area and select the desired group: 
      Recipients only
      Anyone within recipient's domain
      , or 
      Everyone
    • To specify whether the file is displayed to recipients with a watermark, turn the 
      Watermark
       option on or off.
      When watermarks are turned on and permissions are set to 
      Full access
      , watermarks are displayed in 
      Workspaces
       viewers on all files. When permissions are set to any of the 
      Download protected
       permissions, and files are downloaded, watermarks only display on PDF files and do not display on Office files opened in their native applications. Watermarks are set according to organizational policy. 
    • To allow permitted users to post and to view comments in the file comments panel, turn on, turn on 
      Commenting
    • Turn 
      Allow upload of new versions
       on to enable collaboration. See Collaborating on files for more details.
  6. Tap AND_back arrow to return to the Send file screen. 
  7. In the 
    Subject
     area, edit the email subject. 
  8. In the 
    Add a personal message
     box, add a personal message. 
  9. Tap 
    Send
    .
    The file is uploaded to the 
    BlackBerry
    Workspaces
     server and an email containing a link to the file is sent. In the 
    BlackBerry
    Workspaces
     app for 
    Android
    , the file is located in your 
    Sent Files
