Customization
The Customization section in General Settings enables you to update your home page with welcome text, adjust the locale settings for your organization, specify phone call settings, add a logo for your desktop app, customize the name on Self Service pages, add disclaimer messages for Self Service or the mobile app, and specify the layout of user profile and dependent pages.
Text
- In theHomepage Welcome Messagefield, enter text that will appear at the top of the Welcome screen.
- In theFooter Textfield, enter text that will appear on the bottom left of every screen.This text can be a disclaimer, if one is required, or any information that all users need to see.
- ClickSave.
Phone Call Setting
- In theCaller IDfield, enter the number you want to display on the mobile devices of alert recipients when an alert is published to them. You can enter up to 15 digits and special characters such as +.
- In theDefault Country Codefield, select the country code that will be displayed by default whenever users enter a phone number into a field.
- Optionally, in theGETSfield, enter the Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS) PIN number.
- ClickSave.
Desktop App
- In theDesktop App Logofield, clickBrowseto upload the graphic file you want to display in the desktop app. The file must be a .gif, .jpg, or .png file type. The recommended size is 140 pixels wide by 70 pixels high.
- ClickSave.
Self Service
- In theName on User Pagesfield, enter your organization name.
- Optionally, include an organization-specific disclaimer message to display to users when they log in to Self Service. The maximum size of the message is 4000 characters.
- (For suborganizations only.) Optionally, select theOrganization Subscription for End Usersoption to enable users to subscribe themselves to this organization in Self Service. This option is enabled by default.
- (For suborganizations only.) Optionally, select theUser Move for End Usersoption to enable users to move themselves to this organization in Self Service. This option is enabled by default.
- ClickSave.
Mobile App
- In theDisclaimer Messagetext box, enter text that informs end users that when they register for the mobile app, their data is being shared with your organization. You can enter a maximum of 1000 characters. When text is entered in this field, a pop-up message is displayed to end users when they complete registering on the mobile app. End users must acknowledge the disclaimer message before using the mobile app for the first time.
