Configure failover settings
Do not modify the following settings without first consulting
BlackBerry AtHoc
customer support.Most settings in the Desktop App settings page are established during the initial installation and configuration with the assistance of
BlackBerry AtHoc
customer support. The settings in the Failover section of the Desktop App settings page are used to enable the primary BlackBerry AtHoc
server to fail over to a secondary server when the primary server becomes unresponsive and CUs fail.- In the navigation bar, click .
- In theDevicessection, clickDesktop App.
- On theDesktop Appwindow, scroll down to theFailoversection.
- Enter the URL for the failover server.
- Select a value from theReconnect attempts before Failoverlist.This setting specifies the number of attempts that the Desktop app makes to contact the primary server before switching to the failover server.
