Manage profiles

  1. In the management console, on the menu bar, click
    Policies and profiles
    .
  2. Click the appropriate profile type.
  3. Do any of the following:
    Task
    Steps
    Copy a profile.
    1. Click the name of the profile that you want to copy.
    2. Click The Copy icon.
    3. Type a name and description for the profile.
    4. Configure the appropriate values for the profile. For more details about each type of profile, see BlackBerry UEM profiles.
    5. Click
      Save
      .
    6. Assign the profile to users and groups.
    Change a profile.
    1. Click the name of the profile that you want to change.
    2. Click The Edit icon..
    3. Make changes to the profile.
    4. Click
      Save
      .
    Rank profiles.
    1. Click The Rank icon.
    2. Use the arrows to move profiles up or down in the ranking.
    3. Click
      Save
      .
    Remove a profile from user accounts.
    1. Click the name of the profile that you want to remove.
    2. On the
      Assigned to x users
      tab, search for and select the user accounts that you want to remove the profile from.
    3. Click The Remove from user icon.
    Remove a profile from groups.
    1. Click the name of the profile that you want to remove.
    2. On the
      Assigned to x groups
      tab, search for and select the groups that you want to remove the profile from.
    3. Click The Remove from user group icon.
    Delete a profile.
    You cannot delete a default profile. When you delete a custom profile,
    UEM
    removes it from the users and devices that it is assigned to.
    1. Select the profile that you want to delete.
    2. Click The Delete icon.
    3. Click
      Delete
      .
