Share a workspace or folder
To share a workspace or folder with
others:
- To the right of a workspace or folder, tap.
- In theShare witharea, select an option.
- Depending on which option you selected in step 2, you will have different settings to configure. Do one of the following:Option selectedActionUsers > Add membersTo manually add recipient email addresses, enter the email addresses of the intended recipients.To select contacts from your device's contact list, tap and select the contacts that you want to share the file with. When you are finished, tap Done.Optionally, you can type a message in the Message box.Group > Existing groupType a group in the Add group field or click + and select a group name. Only permitted groups display in the list when you start to type.To manually add recipient email addresses, enter the email addresses of the intended recipients in the Add members field. Note that adding a user to an existing group grants the new user access to all files the selected group is permitted to access.Optionally, you can type a message in the Message box.Group > New groupType a group name. Optionally, add a group description. and group members.Email domain > Domain nameType a domain name.Active directory group > Enter group nameType a group name.
- TheAdvanced Rights Managementpermissions set is available forBlackBerry WorkspacesEnterprise ES Mode andBlackBerry WorkspacesEnterprise ES (Restrict Full Access) Mode only. For more information, contact your organization administrator.
- In theExpirationarea, tap
and select the time when the file will no longer be accessible by members. Select a specific date, a time period from the list, or never. If you select
Specific date, choose the desired date from the calendar and tapDone. - ToggleWatermarkto the on position to ensure folder or workspace files display with a watermark in allWorkspacesviewers.Watermarks are set according to organizational policy. When watermarks are turned on and permissions are set toFull access, watermarks are displayed inWorkspacesviewers on all files. When permissions are set to any of theDownload protectedpermissions, and files are downloaded, watermarks only display on PDF files and do not display on Office files opened in their native applications.
- To allow permitted users to add comments on files and view other users comments in the workspace in the workspace, switch theCommentingtoggle on.
