Choose battery saving options
Battery saving mode reduces power consumption by disabling some app features. When it is turned on, the Download Entire Message Content, Show Avatar, Sync Contact Groups, and Show Presence options are overwritten by the Battery Optimization Settings.
- To use the Battery Saver feature, in theBlackBerry Dynamics Launcher, tap .
- TapTools.
- To turn on the battery saver, slide theBattery Saveroption to On.
- In theSync Modesetting selectAuto-syncfor continuous sync orManual Syncfor synchronization to occur only when you log in or out or when you manually request synchronization.
- To stop the download of entire messages, turn off theDownload Entire Message Contentswitch.
