Before you install the

CylanceOPTICS

agent on devices, you must configure the following on those devices to disable proxy bypass. This is required for

CylanceHYBRID

environments, as it ensures that the

CylanceOPTICS

agent always uses a specified proxy server to connect to the

CylanceOPTICS

cloud services:

In /Library/Application Support/Cylance/Desktop/registry/LocalMachine/Software/Cylance/Desktop/, add the following to the values.xml file:

<value name=“ProxyServer” type=“string”>http://proxy_server_IP:port</value>

In /Library/Application Support/Cylance/Optics/Configuration, create an ExternalConfig.xml file with the following:

<?xml version=“1.0” encoding=“utf-8”?><EnforceProxyServer>true</EnforceProxyServer>

In the management console, on the menu bar, click

Settings > Deployments

In the

Product

drop-down list, click

CylanceOPTICS

Select the OS, version, and format, and click
