Create device support messages
Device support messages are supported by
Android
8.0 and later devices.- On the menu bar, clickSettings > General settings.
- ClickCustom device support messages.
- On theCustom device support messagestab, clickAdd.
- Select the language that you want the notification to appear in.
- In theDisabled feature noticefield, type the notice that you want to display on the device when a feature is disabled. The message can be up to 200 characters.
- Optionally, in theAdministrator support messagefield, type a notice that displays on the Device administrators settings screen.
- If you want to create a message in more than one language, clickAdd an additional languageand repeat steps 4 to 6 for each language.
- If you added messages in more than one language, selectDefault languagebeside the language that you want to appear on devices that don’t use one of the available languages. For example, if English and French are the available languages, and English is the default language, the English message appears on devices that use German.
