Change secure email settings

If you have a work account, your administrator might control which settings you can change.
  1. In the 
    BlackBerry Hub+
     Inbox, tap the gear icon.
  2. In the 
    Accounts & views 
    section, tap 
    Manage accounts
    .
  3. Tap an account.
  4. Tap 
    Secure email
    .
  5. Do any of the following:
    • To turn off S/MIME-protected messaging, turn off the 
      Enable 
       switch.
    • To add a certificate, tap 
      Add certificate
      . Tap a certificate, and then tap 
      Select
      .
    • To change a certificate, tap 
      View Signing Certificate
       or 
      Encryption certificate
      . Tap a certificate.
    • To change the default encoding for messages that you send, tap 
      Default email encoding
      , and then tap an option.
    • To change the default encoding for replies and forwarded messages that you send, tap 
      Outgoing email encoding
      , and then tap an option.
    • To stop recipients who don't use S/MIME-protected messaging from reading messages that you send, turn off the 
      Send clear-text signed messages
       switch. 
    • To stop receiving a warning message if there's a problem with a certificate, turn off the 
      Warn about problems with my certificates
       switch.
