Change general settings in the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox
BlackBerry Hub+
Inbox You can change the way you view and organize your messages in the
BlackBerry Hub+
Inbox. General settings apply to all accounts on your device.
To access the general settings, in the
BlackBerry Hub+
Inbox, tap . Change the default email account
If you have personal and work email accounts, you can have two different default accounts.
- In theGeneralsection, tapDefault email account.
- Tap the account that you want to use as the default.
Change how messages are displayed
- In theGeneralsection, tapDisplay.
- Do any of the following:
- To display light text on a dark background, turn on theDark themeswitch.
- To view single messages instead of grouped messages with the same subject, turn off theConversation viewswitch.
- To show the oldest message in a conversation first, tapConversation order, and then tapOld messages first. To change the order of messages temporarily, in a conversation, tap >Reverse order.
- To have more space between messages in the message list, tapMessage list layout, then tapExpanded message list.
- To view message subjects above sender names, turn off theShow name firstswitch.
- To exclude your sent email messages from the message list, turn off theShow sent emailsswitch.
- To see filed email in both the folder and message list, tapShow filed emails in, and then tap an option.
- To change which messages display when you slide your fingers together to filter the messages in a message list, tapPinch gesture actions, and then tap an option.
- To stop your device from adjusting the content in email messages to fit the width of the screen, turn off theResize email to fit screenswitch.
Change how messages are deleted
- In theGeneralsection, tapDisplay.
- Do any of the following:
- To receive a confirmation before you delete messages, turn on theDelete message confirmationswitch.
- To select whether messages you delete from theBlackBerry Hub+Inbox are deleted from theBlackBerry Hub+Inbox only or from both theBlackBerry Hub+Inbox and server, tapDelete on, and then tap an option.
Create your own custom swipe gestures
By default, when you swipe left on a message in your message list, your message is deleted. When you swipe right, it is snoozed. You can customize what action the
BlackBerry Hub+
Inbox takes when you swipe left or right. For example, you can use a swipe gesture to file or flag messages.- In theGeneralsection, tapSwipe gesture actions.
- TapLeft swipe gestureorRight swipe gesture.
- Tap an option.
Change image settings
- In theGeneralsection, tapEmail external images.
- Do any of the following:
- To download images automatically in messages, turn on theDownload images automaticallyswitch.
- To stop downloading images automatically from senders you previously approved, tapClear image approvals>OK.
