Set sync policies
Restrict the file size and file type that users in the organization can upload.
- In the left pane, clickSync.
- To set all files synced via theBlackBerry WorkspacesforWindowsandBlackBerry Workspacesapp forMac, in theGeneral settingsarea, selectAlways download files as protected via Workspaces for Windows and Workspaces app for Mac.
- To set the types of files that users can upload, in theUpload and Download restrictionsarea:
- SelectAllow syncing of the following file types only.
- Enter the desired file type in the format "*.extension", and pressENTER.
- Repeat step 3b to add more file types.
When this option is selected, only file types listed can be synced viaBlackBerry WorkspacesforWindowsandBlackBerry Workspacesapp forMac. - To restrict the types of files that users can upload:
- SelectRestrict syncing of the following file types only.
- Enter the desired file type in the format "*.extension", and pressENTER.
- Repeat step 4b to add more file types.
- To limit the file size that users can upload or sync, selectLimit upload and sync file size, and enter the maximum size, in MB.
- To set the upload and download rate:
- SelectLimit download rateand enter the rate limit in MB.
- SelectLimit upload rateand enter the rate limit in MB.
- ClickApply changes.
