When you set up
Android Management
, you must use a dedicated email address. You cannot use an email address that was used to set up Android Enterprise
.- Go to https://console.developers.google.com and sign in using the email address that will be used forAndroid Management.
- In the Cloud Console, clickNew Project.
- ClickAPIs and Services > Select Library.
- In the search bar, search forAndroid ManagementAPI.
- In the list of search results, enableAndroid Management APIandCloud Pub/Sub API.
- In the Cloud Console, on the menu bar, clickIAM & Admin > Service Accounts > Select > Create Service Account.
- In theGrant this service account access to the projectsection, in theRoledrop-down list, selectAndroid Management User.
- In the secondRoledrop-down list, selectPub/Sub Admin.
- In theGrant users access to the service accountsection, enter the email address that you used in step 1.
- ClickDone.
- On the menu bar, clickService Accountsand select the account that you created.
- ClickKeys > Add Key.
- In theCreate a private key for “dialog box, select<service_account_name>”JSON. ClickCreate.
- Record the service account name, the service account administrator email address, and the JSON private key.
