Install a standalone BlackBerry Router
BlackBerry Router
- You must install a standaloneBlackBerry Routeron a computer that does not host any otherBlackBerry UEMcomponents.You cannot install theBlackBerry Routeron a computer that hosts theBlackBerry Connectivity Node.
- Verify that you have the name of the SRP host. The SRP host name is usually<(for example,country code>.srp.blackberry.com). To verify the SRP host name for your country, visit the SRP Address Lookup page.us.srp.blackberry.com
- In the management console, on the menu bar, clickSettings > External integration > BlackBerry Cloud Connector.
- ClickAdd BlackBerry Connectivity Node.
- In theStep 1: Download BlackBerry Connectivity Nodesection, clickDownload.
- On the software download page, answer the required questions and clickDownload. Save and extract the installation package.
- In therouterfolder, extract thesetupinstaller.zip file. This .zip file contains anInstallerfolder with theSetup.exefile that you use to install theBlackBerry Router.
- Double-click theSetup.exefile.The installation runs in the background and displays no dialog boxes. Once the installation completes, the BlackBerry Router service appears in the Services window.
