Create a Dummy User
Use
this dummy UDS user to log in to
Cisco
Unified CM IM and Presence Administration as an end user and get presences of other LDAP
end users.If the customer has configured single sign-on, the dummy
user must be synchronized from LDAP directory to the CUCM.
- Log intoCisco Unified Communications ManagerAdministration console.
- ClickUser Management > End User.
- ClickAdd New.
- Type a User ID, password, and confirm password for the dummy user account.
- Select theEnable User for Unified CM IM and Presence (Configure IM and Presence in the associated UC Service Profile) checklistto enable the user for presence.
