Allowing users to authenticate with
PingFederate

BlackBerry Enterprise Identity
can redirect user authentication to
PingFederate
, which provides existing
Ping Identity
users with a familiar user interface. You can also use
BlackBerry Enterprise Identity
or
BlackBerry Intelligent Security
policies to allow
Ping Identity
’s authentication to adapt to both risk and context, including extension by PingID, or
BlackBerry 2FA
multifactor authentication.
Before
BlackBerry Enterprise Identity
and
PingFederate
can communicate, you must create a
Ping Identity
client on your organization’s
PingFederate
server, and a corresponding identity provider in
BlackBerry UEM
.
Before you create a
Ping Identity
client, ensure that your organization's
PingFederate
authentication policy has the OBJECTGUID attribute set to Hex. For more information, refer to the documentation from
Ping Identity
.
You must have the latest version of
BlackBerry UEM
12.11 installed in your environment.
