Edit a user attribute
User attributes that are created prior to the deployment of the organization cannot be edited within the organization. If editing user attributes on System Setup, do not modify the common name.
- In the navigation bar, click .
- In theUserssection, clickUser Attributes.TheUser Attributesscreen opens, displaying all of the attributes available to users in the organization.
- Click the user attribute you want to edit.You can search by attribute name to filter the list of attributes. You can also display only the attributes that are defined within the organization, to filter out inherited enterprise and system attributes.
- Update theBasic,Values,Page Layout, andPersonnel Reportssections.TheInfosection cannot be edited. It lists the name of the user who created the attribute, the date it was created, the last user to update the attribute, and the last date the attribute was updated.
