Request and register an APNs certificate
- In the management console, on the menu bar, clickSettings > External integration > Apple Push Notification.
- In sectionStep 1 of 3 - Download signed CSR certificate from BlackBerry, clickDownload certificate.
- Save the signed CSR file to your computer.
- In sectionStep 2 of 3 - Request APNs certificate from Apple, clickApple Push Certificate Portal.
- Sign in to theApplePush Certificates Portal using a validAppleID.
- Follow the instructions to upload the signed CSR.If an invalid file type error displays, you can rename the file to a .txt file and upload it again.
- Download and save the APNs certificate on your computer.
- In the management console, in sectionStep 3 of 3 - Register APNs certificate, clickBrowse.
- Navigate to and select the APNs certificate.
- ClickSubmit.
- To test the connection betweenUEMand the APNs server, clickTest APNs certificate.
- The APNs certificate is valid for one year. You must renew the APNs certificate each year before it expires, using the sameAppleID that you used to obtain the original APNs certificate. To renew the certificate, repeat the steps above but clickRenew certificateat step 2.
