Installation artifacts

This section describes the artifacts that are created during the
BlackBerry AtHoc
desktop app installation process.

Folders

The folders in the following table are created during the installation of the
BlackBerry AtHoc
desktop app. These folders are used to store the installation artifact files.

Registry keys (Windows)

The
BlackBerry AtHoc
desktop app installation process creates the following registry key:
HKLM\Software\SysWow6432Node\BlackBerryAtHocNotifier
The installation process creates several values under the registry key, including the BASEURL and PROVIDER ID. The desktop app uses these values at startup.
The desktop app log is created during the installation process. The app log is shared by all users and is located in a “
BlackBerry AtHoc
Desktop Notifier” folder in the BlackBerry folder. For example:
C:\ProgramData\BlackBerry\BlackBerry AtHoc Desktop Notifier
The installation process adds the following registry value to make the client run when the machine starts:
