Configure the watcher settings
You can configure
CylanceV
to watch for new files that are added to a specific directory. You can also configure what happens to safe, unsafe, and abnormal file types. - In theActionssection, set the action to take for files with varying security levels.
- In theSafe filesfield, from the drop-down list, select the action to take when a safe file is added to the directory. Possible values are ignore, delete, move to safe, move to unsafe, or move to abnormal.
- In theUnsafe filesfield, from the drop-down list, select the action to take when an unsafe file is added to the directory. Possible values are ignore, delete, move to safe, move to unsafe, or move to abnormal.
- In theAbnormal filesfield, from the drop-down list, select the action to take when an abnormal file is added to the directory. Possible values are ignore, delete, move to safe, move to unsafe, or move to abnormal.
- If you selected move to safe, move to unsafe, or move to abnormal for any of the actions above, you must specify the destination folder in the respective field. ClickBrowseand select a folder on your computer. ClickTestto verify that the directory read and write tests are successful.
