Configure the proxy config settings
If you are using a proxy on your network, you need to configure
CylanceV
with your proxy information to allow CylanceV
to verify the authentication key.- From theApplication Settingsdialog, click theProxy Configtab.
- Select one of the following radio buttons:
- No proxy: This setting means there is no proxy used on your network. This is the default setting.
- Auto-detect proxy settings: This setting allowsCylanceVto detect the proxy settings.
- Manually specify proxy settings: This allows you to configure your proxy settings. The user, password, and domain are not needed if no authorization is selected.
- (optional) If you selectedManually specify proxy settingsin step 2, you are required to provide further information to configure your proxy settings. Do the following:
- In theProxy typefield, select the proxy type from the drop-down menu. Possible values areNo Auth,Basic,Digest, orNTLM.
- In theProxy URIfield, enter the proxy URI, which includes the scene. For example,http://<proxy-address>orhttps://<proxy-address>.
- In theUserfield, enter the username for the proxy.
- In thePasswordfield, enter the password for the proxy user.
- In theDomainfield, enter the domain name for the proxy server.
- To ignore any certificate validation failure messages, select theIgnore certificate validation failurecheckbox.
