Configure DNS
For your
CylanceHYBRID
virtual appliance, create a DNS entry on your network (work with your IT department, if necessary).- Create a hostname for the virtual appliance. Example: login.hybrid-cylance.com
- The DNS entry will also need the IP address of the OVA operating system.
- DHCP:If you use DHCP, the IP address forCylanceHYBRIDdisplays on the login page of the virtual appliance.After importing the OVA file, if the IP address does not appear, try restarting the virtual appliance. In VMware vSphere, click the Restart icon, or selectActions > Power > Restart.
- Static IP:If you use a static IP address, use that in the DNS entry. Also follow the Import OVA and Configure Static IP Address task.
