Remove services from a user

If 
BlackBerry UEM
 is enabled for one or more value-added services, and a user is enabled for a service, you can remove the service from a user. You can also remove MDM controls, without deleting the user account from 
BlackBerry UEM
.
  • Before you can remove MDM controls, you must remove activated devices from a user.
  • Before you can remove the 
    Enterprise Identity
     service, you must remove all 
    Enterprise Identity
     assignments.
  1. On the menu bar, click 
    Users > All users
    .
  2. Search for a user account.
  3. In the search results, click the name of the user account.
  4. Click The Remove services icon.
  5. Perform any of the following tasks:

    1. Click The Remove service icon on Managed devices.
    2. Click 
      Save

    Remove 
    Workspaces
     service
    1. Click The Remove service icon on 
      Workspaces
      .
    2. Select one of the following options:
      • Delete all files owned by this user and revoke memberships from all workspace groups and distribution lists
      • Transfer this user's files and membership in workspace groups and distribution lists to a different email address.
        In the 
        Email address
         field, type a contact email address. A new user account is created if the email address is not associated with an existing user account.
    3. Click 
      Remove
      .

    1. Click The Remove service icon on 
      Enterprise Identity
      .
    2. Click 
      Save
