Activate a shared iPad device
- Create a DEP configuration with the ‘Enable Shared iPad mode’ option selected.
- Assign the DEP configuration to a DEP activated iPad device.
- Wipe the iPad device.
- Verify that the BlackBerry Dynamics profile that is assigned to the shared iPad group does not have theEnable UEM Client to enroll in BlackBerry Dynamicsoption selected. Verify that the same profile is also assigned to the user account that owns the shared iPad group.
- On the menu bar, clickDedicated devices > Shared iPad groups.
- Search for a shared iPad group.
- In the search results, click the name of the shared iPad group for which you want to activate the device.
- ClickDevice activationto view the activation username and password.
- Use the device activation information to activate the device.
