Configure proxy settings for a BlackBerry Connectivity Node instance

 instanceYou can configure the components of the 
BlackBerry Connectivity Node
 to send data through a TCP proxy server (transparent or SOCKS v5) before it reaches the BlackBerry Infrastructure
. - On the computer that hosts theBlackBerry Connectivity Node, open theBlackBerry Connectivity Nodeconsole from the Start menu or open a browser and navigate to http://localhost:8088.
 - ClickGeneral settings > Proxy.
 - Perform any of the following tasks:TaskStepsSend data through a SOCKS v5 proxy server (no authentication) to theBlackBerry Infrastructure
- Select theProxy serveroption.
 - Select theEnable SOCKS v5check box.
 - Click+.
 - Type the IP address or host name of the SOCKS v5 proxy server. ClickAdd.
 - Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each SOCKS v5 proxy server that you want to configure.
 - In thePortfield, type the port number.
 - ClickSave.
 
Send data through a transparent proxy server to theBlackBerry InfrastructurePerform any of the following tasks:- In theBlackBerry Connectivity Nodefields, type the FQDN or IP address and port number of the proxy server.
 - In theDevice connectivity componentsfields, type the FQDN or IP address and port number of the proxy server. This setting applies to theBlackBerry Gatekeeping Serviceand theBlackBerry Secure Gateway.
 - In theBlackBerry Secure Connect Plusfields, type the FQDN or IP address and port number of the proxy server.
 
 - ClickSave.
