Your
BEMS
environment must be configured to trust the Root CA for the BlackBerry Proxy
HTTPS configuration. For instructions, see "Importing and configuring certificates" in the BEMS-Core configuration content. - In theBlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server Dashboard, underBEMS System Settings, clickBEMS Configuration.
- ClickBlackBerry Dynamics.
- If aBlackBerry Proxyserver is not defined, do the following:
- ClickAdd BlackBerry Proxy.
- In theHost Namefield, type theBlackBerry Proxyserver host name.
- In theProtocoldrop-down list, select the protocol used to communicate with theBlackBerry Proxyserver.
- If you select HTTPS, thePortfield prepopulates to 17433. This is secure. You must Export the BlackBerry Proxy certificate to the local computer and then Import the certificate into the Java keystore on BEMS.
- If you select HTTP, thePortfield prepopulates to 17080.
- ClickTestto test the connection.
- Repeat the previous steps to add additionalBlackBerry Proxyservers for redundancy continuity.
- Select theApply to other nodes in the BEMS clustercheck box to communicate theBlackBerry Proxyserver information to all of theBEMSnodes in the cluster.
- Optionally, select theEnforce the SLL Certificate validation when communicating with BlackBerry Dynamicscheck box when you use the https protocol to communicate with theBlackBerry Proxyserver. If you don't configure SSL communication between theBlackBerry Connectivity Nodeand the on-premisesBEMSon port 17433, verify that this check box has been cleared.
