, you may need to obtain and copy the Entra
app IDs for BlackBerry Tasks
and BlackBerry Notes
.
You will need to perform these steps for each app.
- Log on to portal.azure.com.
- In the left column, clickAzure Active Directory.
- ClickApp registrations.
- ClickNew registration.
- In theNamefield, enter a name for theBlackBerry TasksorBlackBerry Notesapp. This is the name that users will see.
- Select a supported account type.
- In theRedirect URIdrop-down list, selectPublic client (mobile & desktop)and entercom.blackberry.tasks://connect/o365/redirectorcom.blackberry.notes://connect/o365/redirect
- ClickRegister.
- Optionally, if you are enablingEntra IDconditional access:
- Click on theRedirect URIslink (i.e. '0 web, 0 spa, 1 public client').
- Perform one of the following actions:TaskStepsEnableEntra IDconditional access for aniOSdevice
- Under the existingMobile and desktop applicationssection, clickAdd URI.
- Enter one of the following URIs:
- x-msauth-tasks://com.blackberry.gd.tasks
- x-msauth-notes://com.blackberry.gd.notes
EnableEntra IDconditional access for anAndroiddevice- ClickAdd a platform > Android.
- In thePackage namefield, enter one of the following package names:
- com.blackberry.gd.tasks
- com.blackberry.gd.notes
- In theSignature hashfield, enter:zRsXTl1cL/Seb6GumLzvoecPA8w=
- In theManagesection, clickAPI permissions.
- ClickAdd a permission.
- In theSelect an APIsection, click theMicrosoft APIstab.
- If your environment is using Office 365 Exchange Online, set the following permissions:
- Delegated permissions: Access mailboxes as the signed-in user via Exchange Web Services (EWS > EWS.AccessAsUser.All)
- ClickAdd permissions.
- ClickGrant Permissionsto apply the permissions for the app. These settings will not be applied to the app until you have granted the updated permissions.
- ClickYes.You can now copy the Application ID for the app that you created forBlackBerry Tasks. In theManagesection, clickOverview. It is located under the name of the app, in the Application (client) ID field.
