5.0.0 – December 2020

This section describes new and changed IIM features in IIM release 5.0.0.
  • Migration to .NET
    : IIM was migrated from a Java to a .NET code base for Whelen on Windows 2016.
    • Console window size
      : The size of the IIM console window is now adjustable.
    • Console icons
      : The IIM console icons were updated to include the BlackBerry logo.
    • IIM tray menu improvements
      :
      • The options to start the IIM capcon console and capcon service were combined into a single tray menu option.
      • An option was added to read the capcon console logs.
    • Text-to-speech default values
      : The default values for text-to-speech settings were updated:

  • TTS Config tab improvements
    :
    • When updating and saving text-to-speech values using the TTS Config tab, the Apply button saves the current slider pin values to the system_private.config file.
    • The Undo button sets the last applied value of the sliders.
    • Each slider includes a text box that shows the current pin value. The slider value can be adjusted by entering an integer in the text box.
    • You do not need to click Apply to perform a Speak test from the GUI.
    • The Default button sets the sliders to their default values.
