Specifying database permissions to create the BlackBerry UEM database

databaseDepending on the database option and the type of authentication that you select, you might need to assign database creator permissions to one of the following:
- Service account that you use to complete the installation process
- Microsoft SQL Serveraccount that you specify during the installation process
Database option | Database permission |

Install Microsoft SQL
Server Express during the BlackBerry UEM installation | If you choose Windows authentication, the setup application automatically assigns the required database permissions to the service account |
Use an existing Microsoft SQL
Server in your organization's environment | You must add the service account or Microsoft SQL
Server account to the dbcreator server role |
