Configure the node for
BEMS
 to authenticate with the authentication source

You must configure the node to allow
BEMS
 to authenticate with the authentication source (realm) in Karaf before you can enable the health service servlet to monitor the health and system status of a node in your environment.
  1. On the computer that hosts
    BEMS
    , open the
    BEMS Karaf Console
    . Open a browser window and navigate to https://<
    BEMS instance hostname
    >:8443/system/console/configMgr.
  2. Enter your login credentials.
  3. Scroll to and click
    com.good.gcs.monitor.MonitorComponent.name
    .
  4. In the
    com.good.gcs.monitor.MonitorComponent.realm.name
     field, type
    gems-ad
    .
  5. In the
    com.good.gcs.monitor.MonitorComponent.role.name
     field, type
    admin
    .
  6. Click
    Save
    .
