Back up and restore password records

You can automatically back up your password records and settings to
Google Drive ™
. If you ever reset your device or switch to a new device, you can restore your password records.
  1. Tap The menu icon >
    Settings
     >
    Back up and restore
    .
  2. Select the
    Back up passwords
     check box.
  3. Complete the instructions on the screen to choose a
    Google Drive ™
     account.
To change the backup folder name, tap
Backup folder name
. Type a name, and then tap
OK
. To delete a backup folder, tap
Delete backup folders
. Select the folders you want to delete, and then tap
Delete
.

Restore password records

If you switch to a new device, you can restore password records and settings that you already backed up. If you already added new password records before you restore, your old records are restored alongside your new records so none of your password records are lost. When you restore, your old settings will override your current settings, while your current
BlackBerry Password Keeper
 password remains the same.
When you restore password records, you must enter your
BlackBerry Password Keeper
 password from the time that the backup folder was created.
  1. Tap
    Restore passwords
    .
  2. Select a backup folder.
  3. Tap
    Restore
    .
  4. Enter your
    BlackBerry Password Keeper
     password from the time that the backup folder was created.
  5. Tap
    OK
    .
