Adding calendars
You can add additional calendars to the app, including calendars that are associated with email accounts, and public calendars that you can subscribe to. If you manage Some service providers, such as Yahoo Mail, may require you to change your email settings to allow other services to access your calendar.
To add a calendar that's associated with an email account, follow the instructions below.
Add a personal calendar
- In the calendar app, tap > .
- TapBlackBerry Hub+ Account.
- Enter the email address associated with the calendar, and then tapNext.
- Sign in to the account, and then follow the instructions on the screen. You may have to enter your password, or allow permission to access your information.
- Choose what content to sync. To sync just your calendar, clear the boxes for contacts, email, and other features, then tapNext.
- Enter an account display name, and then tapDone.
Your instructions may be slightly different depending on your service provider.
Add a subscribed calendar
You can add subscribed calendars to
BlackBerry Hub+ Calendar
as well. For example, calendars for holidays, sports, or movies. You can also add calendars from a social network, such as Facebook. If you have a link to the calendar, simply tap the link and complete the instructions on the screen.
If you don’t have a link to the calendar, make sure that you have the server address for the calendar in iCalShare (ICS) format.
- In the calendar app, tap > .
- TapBlackBerry Subscribed Calendar.
- Enter the server address, and then tapNext.
- Configure your options, and then tapNext.
- Enter an account display name, and then tapDone.
Only the owner can change events in a public calendar. When the owner changes events, the changes are synced to your device.
Add a calendar from your CalDAV server
You can also add calendars from a configured CalDAV server.
- In the calendar app, tap > .
- TapBlackBerry CalDAV Account.
- Enter the email address associated with the calendar, and then tapNext.
- Sign in to the account, and then follow the instructions on the screen. You may have to enter your password, or allow permission to access your information.
- If prompted to change your settings, tapEdit settings.
- Set your account options, and then tapNext.
- Enter an account display name, and then tapDone.
