Configure mobile phone notification

After
BlackBerry AtHoc
customer support has set up the correct Notification Delivery Server (NDS) address, you can assign an
AtHoc
mobile gateway to the phone and enable mobile phone notification.
There are two distinct device types for the
BlackBerry AtHoc
mobile app: "Mobile App - Work" and "Mobile App." Users who register through MDM are be assigned to the "Mobile App - Work" device type, while those registering manually are assigned to the "Mobile App" type. This enables operators to selectively send alerts to either work devices, personal devices, or both, ensuring sensitive content is only sent to work devices.
  1. In the navigation bar, click The Settings icon.
  2. In the
    Devices
    section, click
    Devices
    .
  3. On the
    Devices
    screen, click
    Mobile App
    or
    Mobile App - Work
    .
  4. On the
    Mobile App
    or
    Mobile App - Work
    page, click
    Edit
    .
  5. In the
    Name
    field, enter
    Mobile App
    or
    Mobile App - Work
    .
  6. In the
    Common Name
    field, enter the following text with no space between the words:
    mobileNotification
    or
    mobileNotificationWork
    .
  7. In the
    Delivery Gateways
    section, click
    Add a Delivery Gateway
    >
    Mobile App
    .
  8. Click
    Save
    in the top menu bar.
  9. Click
    More Actions
    >
    Enable
    in the top menu bar if the device is not yet enabled.
