Clustered database configuration
The
BlackBerry AtHoc
database server can be installed in a single database configuration or in a clustered failover configuration. The database can be installed in a shared environment where the database also serves other applications.Clustered database support provides higher availability in case a database server crashes, with automatic failover to the other database server, and failback when the primary database server is back online.
BlackBerry AtHoc
considers the database server as a single database resource. For exact database configuration and setup in a clustered environment, see the relevant Windows Server 2019 or Windows Server 2016 clustering support and the database configuration and setup for failover (it is specific to the database release.)Installing
